1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Liken: Image Remix (“Liken,” “we,” “our,” or “the App”) handles information when you use the App and the website at liken.iamdev.me. If you have questions, contact [email protected].
2. Information stored on your device
Liken stores project metadata, imported source images, generated images, settings, credit balances, and purchase-grant records locally on your device. This information supports your image trees and preferences. You can remove a project from within the App; deleting a project also removes its locally stored project images.
If you choose “Save to Photos,” the selected generated image is added to your Photos library. Liken only requests photo-library access needed to select source images or save results.
3. Images and creative requests
When you use analysis, prompt drafting, or image generation, the App sends the information needed to perform that request to our controlled service. Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Your source image;
- Visual analysis derived from that image;
- Generation prompts and variation settings; and
- The generated result returned to your device.
Our application service does not intentionally persist your source or generated images as project storage. It processes requests and returns results. The request may be processed by service providers that support visual understanding, prompt creation, and image generation. Those providers process data under their own security and retention practices.
We do not write image Base64, user images, purchase credentials, or API credentials to application logs. Operational logs may include limited technical information such as request path, response status, timing, and error category.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may provide transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, and verification information needed to deliver credits and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Local transaction identifiers may be stored to ensure the same subscription transaction does not grant credits more than once.
5. Information we do not collect for advertising
Liken does not include third-party advertising and does not use cross-app tracking. We do not sell or rent personal information. The App currently does not require a profile, email address, or social login.
6. Website information
Our website may receive ordinary server information needed to deliver a webpage, such as IP address, browser type, requested path, and timestamp. We use this information for security, availability, and troubleshooting—not targeted advertising.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local projects remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Information processed for an AI request is retained only as needed to complete the request and meet operational, abuse-prevention, security, and legal obligations. Third-party service providers may apply their own limited retention periods.
To request help regarding data associated with the service, email [email protected]. Because Liken does not require an account, we may not be able to identify or retrieve device-local information; that information is controlled directly from your device.
8. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information in transit and during processing. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and Apple ID protected, and avoid using images you do not want processed by an online service.
9. Children
Liken is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the situation.
10. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the App Store where appropriate.
