1. The service
Liken: Image Remix (“Liken,” “we,” “our,” or “the App”) lets you import an image, review visual analysis and creative prompts, generate new image compositions, organize results in an image tree, and save results. Features may change as we improve the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the App and enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain any rights you hold in images and prompts you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited license to host, transmit, reproduce, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the requested service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use your source images. Do not submit content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
4. Generated results
Generated images may be unpredictable, inaccurate, similar to content produced for others, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing a result before publishing, selling, or relying on it. We do not guarantee that a generated result is unique, eligible for intellectual-property protection, or free from third-party claims.
To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to third-party rights, we do not claim ownership of the generated result returned to you.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Liken to:
- Break the law or facilitate harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity;
- Exploit or sexualize minors;
- Violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
- Impersonate another person or mislead people about the origin of generated media;
- Bypass safety controls, interfere with the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or overload infrastructure;
- Extract, resell, or provide unauthorized access to the service; or
- Upload malware or content designed to disrupt systems.
We may limit or block requests that appear unsafe, unlawful, or abusive.
6. Credits
Each successfully generated image uses one creation credit. The App may provide introductory credits. If generation fails within the App’s normal workflow, the corresponding credit is returned automatically.
Credits are a limited license to use generation features. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money. Credit grants, expiration, and availability may depend on the associated product or subscription.
7. Pro subscriptions
Liken offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Current prices, billing periods, trial terms if any, and included benefits are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
Restoring purchases does not grant duplicate credits for a transaction that has already been processed.
8. Availability and changes
Online creation features depend on network access and third-party services. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue a feature for maintenance, security, legal, capacity, or product reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liken is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of Liken. Our total liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Liken during the twelve months before the claim or USD $25, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify us from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using Liken at any time. We may suspend access to online features if necessary to prevent harm, address abuse, comply with law, or protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Liken. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by its terms. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce the provisions applicable to it.
14. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your country or region. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
